Ivar Davids has a diverse work experience in founding and investing in various companies. In 2000, they co-founded Kirkman Company, an organization that specializes in transforming public and private organizations. In 2005, they co-founded YSE, which helps organizations and individuals shape their futures through customized development programs. In 2013, they co-founded Aimforthemoon, focusing on creating successful companies that address pressing issues and moral dilemmas. In 2014, they co-founded Powered by Meaning, aiming to promote meaningful entrepreneurship. In 2016, they co-founded Social Impact Factory Utrecht, the first physical hub for social entrepreneurship. In 2019, they co-founded Buildings that Matter, focusing on creating circular buildings with impact. In 2020, they invested in Route Circulair, a platform offering tailored solutions for the circular economy. Additionally, in 2020, they invested in Fitexclusive, a company providing personal training services, and The Growth Collective, a collective of organizations working towards employee growth and meaningful work. Currently, they are the co-founder and investor at Kyden, a full-service ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) provider formed by merging Kirkman Company, YSE, and Dialogue.

Ivar Davids pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1986 to 1991, they attended Huizermaat, a school where they studied VWO. Following this, they enrolled at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1990 and completed their studies in Public Administration, earning an MSc degree in 1996.
