Erik van der Meulen has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Erik is currently a Non Executive Board Member at Kyden since 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded PoweredByMeaning in 2014, focusing on collective entrepreneurship and making positive contributions to society. In the same year, they also worked as a Facilitator at the Foundation for Natural Leadership, promoting sustainable and socially responsible leadership. Erik co-founded Next2Company in 2014, where they developed and implemented sustainable business models. In 2007, they co-founded YSE, a traineeship program for high potentials. Additionally, they co-founded We Beat The Mountain in 2010, aiming to reduce global waste through innovative products and services. In 2013, Erik co-founded Aimforthemoon to support entrepreneurs in filling societal gaps and failures. In 2018, they served as the Acting General Director at Dialogue BV. Erik's work experience also includes their role as Managing Partner at Kirkman Company, where they focused on organizational change and entrepreneurship. Erik started their career as a Senior Consultant at Trekant Partners B.V. in 2002. Overall, Erik's work experience demonstrates their commitment to sustainable and innovative entrepreneurship.

Erik van der Meulen completed their education from 1986 to 1993 at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), where they earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
