Michiel Borst is a clinical psychologist currently working at Youz since February 2024, focusing on transgender care for children and adolescents in mental health. Previously, Michiel was in training as a healthcare psychologist at GGZ Noord-Holland-Noord from June 2018 to December 2023, gaining experience across various specialties including personality disorders, elderly psychiatry, forensic outpatient care, and persistent physical complaints. Michiel also holds various professional registrations and has completed extensive supervision in cognitive behavioral therapy, system therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Educational background includes training as a clinical psychologist at RINO Amsterdam and a Master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, Michiel has been involved in scientific research and has published findings in collaboration with Moeyaert.
