Kate Berland is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the technology and media sectors, currently serving as Sr Director of Creator Marketing at YouTube since September 2012. In this role, Kate leads a team focused on insights and marketing strategies for YouTube's core products and emerging experiences. Prior to this, Kate held various marketing leadership positions at both YouTube and Google, where significant contributions included establishing foundational creator propositions and leading the creative overhaul of Google's marketing pages. Kate's background also includes a strategic role as Global Relations Manager at Project Syndicate and work in development for the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society. Academic credentials include a BA in History from Stanford University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
