Gina (Weakley) Johnson is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in executive and internal communications, currently serving as the Director and Head of Executive & Internal Communications at YouTube since March 2020. Previously, Gina worked at Google for nearly a decade in various leadership roles, including Head of Companywide Channels, where responsibilities included overseeing internal communication initiatives for 120,000 employees, and Senior Manager for Executive and Leadership Communications, focusing on strategic messaging for C-suite executives. Gina's earlier experience includes managing PR campaigns at Red Consultancy and Weber Shandwick, supporting notable tech clients and executing award-winning media relations strategies. Gina holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and is pursuing an MBA at The Wharton School.
