Dan Ho is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing creative and intuitive applications across various platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at YouTube since November 2022, Dan is a key member of the Shorts Creation Platform team. Prior to this, Dan held several notable positions, including Software Engineer at Google, where significant contributions included the implementation of multiple drafts in the YouTube Shorts camera. Dan's entrepreneurial spirit is highlighted through the founding of ARX Apps, LLC, focusing on augmented reality educational tools, and Worthless Apps, known for the successful "Make It Rain" novelty app. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Dan has a well-rounded technical and psychological understanding that enhances software development.
