Chris Folmsbee began their work experience in 2004 as the President/CEO of Sonlife, a role they held until 2007. In 2007, they joined YouthFront as the CMO and stayed until 2009. Since 2009, they have been the Director at Barefoot Publishing/The House Studio.

Chris Folmsbee obtained a degree in Education with a focus on Religion from Davis College, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Chris continued their education at Trinity Seminary from 1999 to 2001, earning a Master's degree in Biblical Studies with a specialization in Theology.
