Emilia RamÃrez Valenzuela is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in youth empowerment and advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of Opportunity Youth Strategy at YouthBuild México and as Director of GOYN CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, Emilia leads systemic change initiatives and forges multi-sector partnerships to benefit opportunity youth. Previous roles include Director of Institutional Development and Program Manager at YouthBuild México, where Emilia focused on strategic planning, grant proposal development, and program management. Emilia's background also includes campaign coordination for Oxfam México, where advocacy on climate change and food justice was a priority. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Anthropology of Development and Social Transformation from the University of Sussex, along with a Diploma in Political Processes of Public Policy from Flacso México.
