Carolina Bejarano is an experienced Development Manager at Youth Business International since October 2021, where leadership is provided in bid development and the design of entrepreneurship programs focused on sustainability. Prior experience includes roles as a Fundraising Coordinator at Children Change Colombia, where efforts were made to protect children's rights and strengthen local grassroots, and as a Human Rights Expert at GIZ, supporting humanitarian projects for migrants. Carolina co-founded Warawa, an ethical products company, and has held various national coordinator positions related to community support and poverty alleviation in Colombia. Academically, Carolina holds a Master's degree in Intercultural Conflict Management and postgraduate qualifications in Human Rights, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Political Science.
