Russell Hayes has a long and varied work experience. Russell began their career in 1989 as a Consultant for Andersen Consulting (Accenture). In 1992, they moved to The Magic Group in the same role. Russell then worked as a Project Manager and CIO for Visionary Integration Professionals from 1996 to 2001. In 2001, they became the Owner and Chief Executive of Coastline Technology Consulting, Inc. In 2013, they joined CIOs2Go as a Partner. In 2018, they founded Bytala, and in 2020, they became the Chief Technology Officer of YouROK Corp. Russell has also provided highly personal, top end IT service management solutions to the small business sector in the Sacramento area, and successfully built and sold the business in the local community.

Russell Hayes obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara in 1989.
