Melanie R. is an accomplished professional in strategic communications and community engagement, currently serving as an Associate in Strategic Communications at YoungArts since August 2023. Previously, Melanie worked as the Culture Shock Miami Program Coordinator for Miami-Dade County, where responsibilities included revitalizing brand identity, enhancing social media presence, and developing community engagement activities. Experience also includes roles as a Writing Tutor and Tutorial Coordinator at Florida International University, as well as leadership positions in the Millennium Campus Network, focusing on social impact and education. Additionally, Melanie contributed to online content editing and writing for Make Muse and gained valuable experience as an intern at the de la Cruz Collection and the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in English from Florida International University.
