Charles (Chuck) Byham has extensive experience in law enforcement and human resources, currently serving as an Inspector at York Regional Police since November 2005. In this role, Byham has held various positions focusing on professionalism, leadership, inclusion, and operational command. Previous positions include Staff Sergeant in the Professional Development Bureau and Sergeant overseeing technology skills and development. Prior to joining York Regional Police, Byham served as a Police Constable with Halton Regional Police Service and held roles in transportation enforcement and community safety. Additionally, Byham has a background as Director of Human Resources at Intelligarde®, managing various HR disciplines including recruitment and talent development.
