Lynn Charyk is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in various roles within public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Procurement Specialist at York Region since April 2021, Lynn has held multiple positions at the organization, including Senior Purchasing Analyst. Prior experience includes working as a Procurement Specialist at Georgian College and a QA, Managed Services Specialist at Scotiabank. Lynn also contributed to the Town of Georgina as both Customer Service and Purchasing Assistant, and held a Strategic Procurement Specialist role at Hewlett-Packard, enhancing procurement processes and fostering supplier relationships. Lynn is OPBA certified, holds a diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, and possesses an Honours BA in International Politics from York University, complemented by a Certified Professional Public Buyer designation from the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council.
