Mayor Mike Spano appointed Mr. Kevin Cacace to the Yonkers Board of Education in December 2016 to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Curtis Kendrick, who relocated from Yonkers, vacating the position.
A long-time business leader, Mr. Cacace currently serves as the Yonkers Chamber of Commerce President. He serves as a board member to the Yonkers Public Schools Occupational Education Council, and is the Vice President of the Queen’s Daughters Day Care Center in addition to other community boards. As President of the Chamber of Commerce, Cacace is responsible for policy making and strategic planning as well as the administration of the Chamber’s city, state and federal grants.
Mr. Cacace attended State University of New York, Delhi. He is married and the father of three children.
