Tara Alperin is an accomplished founder and director of Tesni Yoga Events since June 2023, overseeing a team of teachers to provide immersive yoga experiences. As Partner Manager and Activation Lead at GroundSwell Group, LLC since February 2022, and involved in teacher development at Yoga Pearl since January 2022, Alperin has played a pivotal role in cultivating yoga instructors and implementing mentorship programs and teacher trainings. Additionally, Alperin serves as Artistic Director of NunaMaana Immersive Dance Theatre since August 2013, leading creative projects such as choreography for films and events. Alperin's extensive teaching experience spans various institutions, including Yoga Instructor roles at Innergy Corporate Yoga and Y7 Studio, and a Dance Instructor position at Ballet Austin. Alperin holds Bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Integrative Arts with a focus on Dance from Prescott College and in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College.
