Winnie Muhumuza is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in early childhood education and a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. Currently serving as a Registered Early Childhood Educator at the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario and a Program Coordinator for Single Women in Motherhood, Ms. Muhumuza has also worked as SAP and supply staff at London Children's Connection. Previously, Ms. Muhumuza held the role of GESI Advisor at FHI 360, where significant contributions included a DEI focal person position. With experience as a Lead Trainer at eKitabu and a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant at Chemonics International, Ms. Muhumuza has engaged in impactful projects such as the Rwanda Sign Language Dictionary and Kinyarwanda Braille standardization. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Education specializing in Education Policy Planning and Management, a BA in Education, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Fanshawe College.
