Scott Barnhard is an accomplished non-profit leader with extensive experience in financial development within the YMCA organization. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President for Financial Development at the YMCA of Greater Kansas City since September 2024, Scott has previously held significant roles, including Chief Advancement Officer at the YMCA of Southwest Florida (August 2023 - August 2024), Chief Development Officer at the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA (April 2018 - July 2023), and Vice President of Financial Development at the YMCA of Central Florida (January 2011 - April 2018). Earlier in their career, Scott served in various capacities at the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, contributing as Vice President of Financial and Resource Development, Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving, and Center Executive Director. Scott holds a JD from the University of Kansas School of Law (1986 - 1989) and a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Graceland University (1982 - 1986).
