Kevin Gallerin has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and quantitative finance.
From 2004 to 2006, they worked as an IT Security Consultant at Sysdream.
In 2006, they moved on to CERT-LEXSI Singapore where they initially served as an IT Security Consultant and later took on the role of IT Security Consultant & Lead Engineer (R&D) from 2009 to 2013. During their time at CERT-LEXSI, they were responsible for project execution, team management, and designing new solutions for clients.
In 2013, Gallerin co-founded and became the CEO of Tech Rising - Quantitative Trading Software. Their role involved providing active traders with advanced investment strategies and rational decision-making tools through the use of technology, mathematics, and big data. Kevin successfully led the company until 2019.
Since 2019, Gallerin has served as the CEO APAC at YesWeHack. In this role, they connect organizations to a global community of cybersecurity experts, utilizing bug bounty programs and vulnerability disclosure policies to improve their security posture.
Kevin Gallerin's education history includes attending ESIPE - École supérieure d’ingénieurs de Paris-Est from 2006 to 2009. During their time at ESIPE, they pursued a degree in Computer Science and Network Engineering, graduating with an Engineer (Bac+5, MSc eq.) degree. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, Kevin studied at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, where they obtained a Degree of Technology with a focus on Electronic and Computer Science.
In terms of additional certifications, Kevin Gallerin earned the GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) certification from the GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification) in March 2012.
