Danyel Perote is an accomplished Sr. Engineering Manager with extensive experience in leading teams and driving technological advancements. Currently managing the Core ML Team at Yelp since April 2022, Danyel focuses on promoting the adoption of machine learning tools to solve critical business challenges, while also overseeing a team of managers and engineers. Previously, at McAfee, Danyel managed a full-stack engineering team for the McAfee/TunnelBear VPN project, and as Chief Technology Officer at Qode Media Inc., Danyel led multiple teams and oversaw the development of several SaaS products across different countries. Danyel's background includes project management and software development roles across various organizations, showcasing a strong ability to implement Agile methodologies and deliver high-quality tech solutions. Danyel holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Ceará.
