Pilgrim Jackson has extensive work experience in the field of proteomics and bioinformatics. From 2007 to 2020, they held various roles at Celgene, including being a Sr. Principle Scientist/Associate Director and a Sr. Scientist/Principal Scientist. In these positions, they built and led teams, managed protein production and proteomics groups, and contributed to drug discovery projects. Prior to their time at Celgene, Pilgrim worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Irvine. In 2020, Pilgrim founded Yatiri Bio Inc., where they currently serve as the CEO/Founder. At Yatiri Bio, Pilgrim is focused on revolutionizing therapeutic discovery by developing innovative proteomics and bioinformatics tools.
Pilgrim Jackson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics from Yale University. Additionally, Pilgrim holds a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz. However, the start and end years for both degrees are unknown.
