Nikesh Modi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nikesh is currently working at YardLink as a Sales Manager, a role they took on in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ideal Standard International NV, where they held positions such as Business Development Manager from March 2021 to April 2022, Business Development Executive from November 2019 to March 2021, and Field Sales Executive from December 2017 to November 2019. Nikesh also gained sales experience at Vodafone as a Sales Adviser from November 2014 to November 2016. Nikesh started their career at McDonald's Corporation, working as a Crew Trainer from July 2012 to September 2013, and as a Restaurant Crew Member from October 2010 to July 2012. Additionally, they have experience as a Shop Assistant at M & B Newsagents from April 2010 to August 2013, and as a Sales Support at Fantastica UK from May 2011 to September 2012.

Nikesh Modi began their education at Sir Christopher Hatton School, where they attended from 2005 to 2011. After completing their secondary education, Nikesh enrolled at Tresham College of Further and Higher Education from 2011 to 2013, where they pursued a BTEC Extended Diploma in Business, which is equivalent to A-Levels. Moving forward, Nikesh attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a BA (Hons) in Business Management with Marketing and Overseas Study. As part of their degree, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange Study Programme in 2015-2016 at Universidad de Murcia, where they studied Business Administration and Management.
