Jacqui Poon is a seasoned professional in sustainability and agri-technology with a strong background in plant sciences and biochemistry. Currently serving as Sustainability Business Manager at Yara International since April 2021, Jacqui focuses on decarbonizing Scope 3 emissions and promoting regenerative agriculture across Africa and Asia. Previous roles include Senior Product Owner and Product Owner in AgTech, where Jacqui led teams to develop innovative services for small-scale farmers. As a Fellow at The RSA, Jacqui is recognized for utilizing technology to enhance farmers' livelihoods. Founding Farming Data, a software startup aimed at improving market access for small-scale farmers, further showcases Jacqui's commitment to agricultural innovation. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s in Biochemistry from ETH Zürich.
