Shashi Shekhar Singh is the Head of Operations at Yango Ride MENAP & Africa. With a remarkable track record spanning over 12+ years in operations and P/L management, Shashi brings a wealth of expertise and strategic vision to his role.

Shashi oversees Yango's expansion efforts in early-stage markets across more than 10 countries, playing a pivotal role in driving growth and establishing the company's footprint in the regions. His leadership has been marked by an unwavering commitment to innovation, technology, and data-driven solutions, enabling Yango to navigate complex markets with agility.

With a strong foundation in tech-driven operations, he has held influential roles at Swvl, UberEats, Coca-Cola, and Ericsson. At Swvl, he led global operations across eight countries, overseeing a team of over 300. He established a 10+ member central operations team in Dubai, streamlining processes and implementing structural changes to enhance scalability. His time at UberEats saw him manage 10 cities, including one of India’s top-performing hubs, pioneering first-in-country 3-wheeler cross dispatch between Eats and Rides to boost efficiency.

Over his two-year tenure at Yango, Shashi has been integral to the company’s global expansion, managing key markets in Africa and Asia. His leadership has played a critical role in optimising operations, scaling services, and embedding sustainable practices.
