Simon McDougall is a seasoned professional in the fields of privacy, technology policy, and data protection, currently serving as the Chief Strategist for Privacy & AI and Chief Compliance Officer at ZoomInfo since January 2022. McDougall holds the position of International Fellow at the Yale Digital Ethics Center as of November 2023. Previous roles include Deputy Commissioner and Executive Director for Technology Policy and Innovation at the Information Commissioner's Office from October 2018 to July 2021, and Managing Director at Promontory Financial (UK) Ltd, where McDougall led global Privacy and Data Protection services from May 2010 to September 2018. Earlier experience includes roles at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen, culminating in a managerial position. McDougall earned a BA Hons in English Literature from Somerville College, Oxford University, from 1994 to 1997.
