Mohammed Al-Asadi is a dedicated researcher with a strong background in pain management and health sciences. Currently serving as a Research Lead at the Michael G. DeGroote Institute for Pain Research & Care, Mohammed is leading a literature review on various pharmacological treatments for post-surgical chronic pain. Previously, Mohammed held the position of Research Lead at McMaster University, where a collaborative literature review resulted in a publication in the American Journal of Sports Medicine. Earlier experience includes roles as a Lab Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, focusing on advanced laboratory techniques and patient research. Mohammed is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Toronto while holding a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Honours from McMaster University.
