Elizabeth Conklin serves as the Associate Vice President for Institutional Equity, Accessibility & Belonging and Title IX Coordinator at Yale University since September 2020. In this role, Elizabeth leads strategies and initiatives related to equity and accessibility while overseeing several key offices, including the Office of Institutional Equity and Accessibility and the Title IX Office. Prior to Yale, Elizabeth held various positions at the University of Connecticut from April 2010 to August 2020, including Associate Vice President and Title IX Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed civil rights compliance and discrimination investigations. Elizabeth's earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney specializing in labor law and employment disputes, and a Legal Research Law Clerk for Connecticut trial judges. Elizabeth holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Peace Studies from the University of Connecticut.
