Rob Stein serves as the Director of Operations at XWELL since September 2016, directing a traveler-based genomic surveillance program in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), focusing on near-real-time detection of COVID-19 strains at U.S. airports. Previously, Stein held the position of Area Manager at XpresSpa from October 2016 to February 2023, overseeing operations across 15 spas and training 23 new spa managers. Additionally, Stein worked as Area Director at XpresCheck/XpresSpa/Treat and as General Manager/Beverage Director at SFCO/Saved By the Max from April 2014 to September 2016.
