Yevgen Balter is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering management and organizational transformation. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at XTM International, Yevgen leads the R&D team and drives Agile and engineering transformation initiatives. Previously, as VP of Engineering at Takeoff Technologies, Inc., Yevgen was instrumental in expanding the Ukrainian engineering teams from 30 to 100 members, establishing engineering standards, and fostering a strong, agile-driven organizational culture. Yevgen also founded Smart Lab (SmartTouch POS) and served as CEO and CTO, successfully growing the customer base to 1,500 in ten countries within three years. Yevgen's career began at DP Interzvyazok, where Yevgen held the roles of Senior Software Developer and Team Lead. Yevgen holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the National Technical University of Ukraine and a Master's degree in Administrative Management from Kyiv University of Market Relations.
