Shannon Serrao is a Senior Consultant in Data Science at Xtage since August 2023 and has been a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech since August 2014. Prior experience includes a role as a Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, focused on experiment modeling using GLOBES software, and a Software Engineer position at HSBC, where responsibilities included financial straight-through processing using Cobol, Mainframes, and DBSQL. Shannon holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Virginia Tech, a Master of Science (MS) in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Don Bosco Institute of Technology.
