Aneeta Akhurst is a seasoned professional in content production and storytelling, currently serving as VP of Content & Community at XPRIZE since April 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing editorial storytelling and enhancing global engagement with the XPRIZE mission. Additionally, Aneeta is a member of Chief, a network dedicated to empowering women in leadership roles. With extensive experience in media, Aneeta previously held the position of Director of Programming at Seeker Media, where the brand became the top science media platform for Gen-Z and Millennials. Other notable positions include Development Producer at Discovery Digital Networks and various production roles across documentary and natural history projects, showcasing a strong background in quality content development and production. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with Zoology from King's College London and a Post Graduate Diploma in Natural History Filmmaking and Science Communication from the University of Otago.
