Conor Herley has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Conor began their career at Gateway, where they served as the Manager of the ASP program from 1995 to 2001. In 2002, they joined XL Group and held various roles, including Quality and Services Manager for Europe, VP of IT Compliance (SOX), and VP of IT Compliance, where they established a Compliance function within the Information Risk Management branch. Conor worked on end-to-end deployment of activities relating to SOX compliance in the global IT infrastructure environment. In 2013, Conor joined AXA XL as a Risk Manager, focusing on operational risk for the entity. Conor worked with the Divisional risk team and Group risk management for oversight and support.

Conor Herley completed the ACCA DipFM degree in Financial Management from Dublin Business School in 2008-2009. Prior to that, they earned a CISA degree in Information Systems Audit and Control from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) in 2005-2006. Their earlier education includes a BSc degree in Management from Trinity College Dublin and a Higher Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from Technological University Dublin during the period of 1987-1991.
