Peter Igo's work experience starts with their role as a Laboratory Operations Manager at Xilio Therapeutics, Inc., which they began in May 2020.

Prior to this, Peter worked at Sentien Biotechnologies, Inc., where they held various roles. Peter started as a Laboratory Technician in April 2017 and worked in the expansion of bone marrow-derived Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs). Their research included testing of cellular therapy products and the circulation of PBMCs and blood in an extra-corporeal device.

In March 2019, Peter was promoted to Laboratory Operations Associate at Sentien Biotechnologies. In this role, they took on additional responsibilities such as quality control, operations, and document control work.

Before joining Sentien Biotechnologies, Peter worked as a Research Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital from July 2015 to April 2017. Peter assisted in experimental design and execution related to small cell lung carcinomas and gained experience in various techniques, including dose response curve production, DNA and RNA isolation, qPCR, siRNA transfection, and Western blotting.

Peter's work experience began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Boston College from October 2013 to May 2015. Peter worked in the Chatterjee lab, where they developed foundational skills in biological research techniques, including viral incorporation and protein production in mammalian cell lines.
