Jason Sheu is a Data Scientist at XiFin, Inc. since July 2022, where responsibilities include developing patient-facing machine learning models and processing a vast amount of digital documents using OCR and NLP technologies. Previously, Jason served as a Data Science Intern at the UCSD BioRegional Center, focusing on optimizing tree data collection and analyzing data to address socioeconomic challenges in San Diego. Additionally, Jason interned at the San Diego Energy District, where data pipeline development and strategic advisory roles regarding sustainable energy outreach were prominent. Earlier experience includes a teaching assistant position at Pacific Academy. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Data Science from the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute, UC San Diego.
