Mar Mann has a diverse work experience in software development and consultancy. They currently work at Xerris Inc. as a Software Consultant/Developer since July 2020. Prior to this, Mar Mann owned and served as the President of Mann Powered Software Inc. since January 2011. They worked at Arcurve Inc. as a Software Consultant/Developer from May 2013 to July 2020. Mar Mann also worked at R2-Solutions as a Software Consultant/Developer from May 2012 to May 2013, where they utilized .Net 4.0 technologies. Before that, they worked at ERCB as a Software Developer from January 2009 to April 2012, and at Husky Energy as a Lead Software Developer from October 2008 to January 2009. Mar Mann's career started at Petro Canada, where they worked as a Software Developer from January 2006 to October 2008, primarily focusing on .Net development.

Mar Mann attended Mount Royal University from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, they went on to study at the University of Calgary from 2003 to 2005, continuing their education in Computer Science and obtaining a BSc degree.
