Tim Nicholas is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in systems administration, engineering, and architecture. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer - SRE at Xero since May 2020, Tim has held multiple roles within Xero from 2014 to 2019, including Platform and Reliability Architect, Product Owner and Lead Automation Architect, IaaS Team Lead, and Operations Developer. Prior to Xero, Tim worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at New Zealand Post, and gained valuable systems administration experience at Weta Digital, Pointy Hat Productions, and Double Negative. Tim's educational background includes studies at the University of Otago.
