Cheryl Lynn May is a seasoned professional in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Global EHS and Sustainability at Xellia Pharmaceuticals since November 2015, Cheryl directs the Global EHS Team and develops comprehensive strategies and standards to ensure compliance and promote best practices across all sites. Previously, Cheryl held positions at Hikma Pharmaceuticals as EHS Manager and at Boehringer Ingelheim, where roles included EHS Manager, EHS Supervisor, and EHS Coordinator, focusing on the development and implementation of effective EHS programs and risk management. Cheryl holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health Sciences from Eastern Kentucky University and has furthered education at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
