Pieter Gheysens is a seasoned IT professional currently serving as the Managing Director of Xpirit Belgium, an IT consulting and training company focused on DevOps, Cloud Architecture, Mobile Development, and Cloud Powered Intelligence, which became part of the Xebia Group in 2022. Pieter is also the founder of Techorama, an international software developer conference, and Sparkles. Additionally, Pieter leads the Visual Studio User Group since 2006. Previous experience includes co-founding bITe BVBA and serving as Team Lead and .NET Consultant at Compuware Belgium. Pieter holds degrees from KU Leuven, having studied there from 1995 to 2000.
