Zhǎn Lǐ is currently a Data Scientist specializing in Remote Sensing & Geoinformatics at xarvio® Digital Farming Solutions, a position held since April 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Researcher at Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) from January 2021 to March 2022, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam - German Research Centre GFZ, as well as Natural Resources Canada, from January 2020 to June 2021 and May 2018 to January 2020, respectively. Zhǎn Lǐ also served as a Research Fellow at the University of Massachusetts from September 2015 to April 2018, and as a Research Assistant at Boston University from September 2011 to August 2015 and at the Chinese Academy of Sciences from August 2008 to July 2011. The educational background includes a Ph.D. in Earth and Environment from Boston University (2011-2015), a Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2008-2011), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic Information System from Nanjing University (2004-2008).
