Richard Fair

Principal Scientist and Library Development Group Leader at X-Chem

Richard Fair has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Richard started their career in 2014 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, where they worked until February 2016. In 2017, Richard joined X-Chem, Inc. and held various positions, starting as a Research Scientist until March 2020, then transitioning to a Senior Research Scientist until March 2022. Currently, they serve as the Principal Scientist and Library Development Group Leader at X-Chem, Inc.

Richard Fair obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Richard then pursued further education at UC San Diego from 2007 to 2014, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Masters degree in Organic Chemistry.
