Melanie Wiesel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and project management within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as the Head of Operations and Project Portfolio Manager at Wyss Zurich, Melanie oversees project evaluation and selection. Prior roles at Wyss Zurich Foundation and ETH Zürich involved technology evaluation and IP counseling. Melanie's background includes a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship at Novartis, focusing on human immunology and drug discovery, alongside postdoctoral research in mouse immunology at ETH Zurich. Earlier research internships include positions at Cytos Biotechnology, Yale University, and Geneart AG. Melanie holds a PhD in Infection Immunology from ETH Zürich and multiple Certificates of Advanced Studies in Nonprofit and Public Management from the University of Basel.
