Isabel Klint is an experienced linguist with a robust background in language documentation and natural language processing (NLP). Since May 2010, Isabel has been working with Wycliffe Bible Translators USA, focusing on language documentation. Isabel's recent roles include serving as Research Co-Lead at Omdena, where efforts were directed towards NLP for Ethiopian languages, and as a Student Consultant at Open Avenues, where Isabel developed an NLP/machine learning model for medical report extraction. Previously, Isabel worked as a linguist and transcriber for TellMe. Isabel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Comparative Literature, two Master's Degrees in Linguistics and Humanities Computing with a specialization in Linguistics, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Data Management and Data Analytics at Western Governors University.
