Marco Alfaro has an extensive career in sports broadcasting, currently serving as a Journalist Voice-over Announcer for WWE since February 2011, where responsibilities include announcing in Portuguese for programs such as Monday Night Raw, Main Event, NXT, and Smackdown in Brazil. Prior to this role, Alfaro was a Sports Announcer for ESPN Deportes during the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa, responsible for play-by-play narration. Additionally, from March 1994 to February 2006, Alfaro worked as a Sports Announcer for ESPN, anchoring daily sports news shows and providing commentary for various major sports events, including the NFL's Super Bowl and NHL's Stanley Cup. Alfaro holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Pontificia Catholic University in Brazil.
