Huiguang Li has a diverse work experience history spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career in 2000 as a Research Associate at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, where they focused on immunology research. From 2004 to 2009, they worked as a Research Assistant at New York University, Langone School of Medicine, completing two projects under the supervision of Dr. At an earlier point in their career, they served as a Ph.D candidate at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, concentrating on DNA recombinase structure and function. Following their Ph.D, they joined the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they specialized in studying protein factors in haemostasis and thrombosis, with a specific focus on Factor X. Their current role is that of a Senior Project Manager at Biortus, a position they have held since 2020.
Huiguang Li completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania from 2009 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological Sciences from Hebei University. Later on, they pursued a Master of Biophysics degree in Macromolecular Structure and Function from Peking University.
