James Yu, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in the field of biologics development and translational medicine, currently serving as Senior Director of Biologics Development at WuXi Biologics since April 2024. Previously, James held the position of Senior Director of Translational Medicine at Qilu Pharmaceuticals, where a Biomarker Team was founded and multiple functional groups were developed. James's extensive background includes roles at Agilent Technologies as an Advanced Scientist/Team Lead and Project Manager, where leadership in IVD Class III product care was demonstrated. Prior positions as Senior Scientist at MannKind Corporation, Research Scientist at Amgen, Research Fellow at Pfizer, and Medical Resident at Zhejiang University further underscore a solid foundation in pharmacokinetics, regulatory submissions, and clinical research. Educational achievements include a PhD in Toxicology and an MS in Pathology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, along with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from Fudan University.
