Deping Cheng currently serves as the Head of the US WIND Team and Director of Program Management at WuXi AppTec since June 2020, focusing on managing an integrated IND-enabling program and providing scientific support for business development. Prior experience includes holding the position of Director of Bioanalysis and Head of Clinical Diagnostic Lab at Alliance Pharma from February 2015 to June 2020, where leadership was provided across multiple teams in bioanalysis, pharmacokinetics, and clinical diagnostics. Cheng's career also features significant roles at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from 2005 to 2015, evaluating bioanalytical technologies and guiding ADME/PK studies. Earlier positions include postdoctoral research at The Ohio State University, University of Oklahoma, and San Francisco State University, alongside academic experience as an Associate Professor at Zhejiang University. Cheng holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Zhejiang University.
