Amy Adam has extensive work experience in the field of quality control and analytical testing. Amy is currently working at WuXi Advanced Therapies as a Senior Scientist/Supervisor, overseeing and supervising all analytical, cell-based, and molecular testing for the QC Raw Materials Team. Their responsibilities include reviewing testing records for compliance with GMP policies and guidelines.
Before joining WuXi Advanced Therapies, Amy worked at WuXi AppTec as a Scientist in the QC Analytical team. Amy was responsible for reviewing testing records, writing reports and SOPs, as well as troubleshooting instrumentation and methods.
Prior to that, Amy worked at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a Research Assistant, focusing on pharmaceutical method development, validation, sample processing, and analysis for clinical and pre-clinical trials. Amy also performed bioanalysis of samples for both human and animal studies.
Amy has also gained experience at Absorption Systems as a Scientist in Bioanalytical, where they conducted method development, GLP validation, and bioanalysis of test compounds using LC-MS/MS instrumentation. Amy was also involved in calibration, report and SOP writing, and minor equipment troubleshooting.
Their earlier experience includes working at Quest Diagnostics as a Forensic Toxicologist, specializing in the extraction, analysis, and data processing of illegal and prescription drugs. Amy utilized various instrumentation, such as GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS, and was experienced in automation instruments for testing and sample preparation.
Amy Adam completed their Associate of Science (AS) degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Mercer County Community College between 2004 and 2007. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Forensic Science from The Sage Colleges - Russell Sage College, which they completed between 2007 and 2010.
