Gabriella Paul is a reporter at WUSF Public Media since June 2022, previously serving as Digital Desk Editor at WUFT News from August 2021 to June 2022. Gabriella also held the position of Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications during the same period and was a Special Projects Reporting Fellow at the Brechner Center for Freedom of Information from May 2020 to August 2021, where Gabriella focused on data reporting and visuals for the investigative podcast "Why Don't We Know." Prior experience includes roles as Web Producer at WUFT News, covering breaking news and editing digital stories, and Capitol Correspondent with Fresh Take Florida, where Gabriella reported on the 2019 legislative session. Early experience includes performing as a reporting intern at The Gainesville Sun and as a staff writer for the Avenue at The Independent Florida Alligator. Gabriella holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida, completed in 2020.
