Francesco Bertacchi is a Software Lead at WurQ, responsible for leading a team of engineers and driving the design and implementation of the company's code base. In addition to their current role, Francesco also works as a Global Entrepreneur in Residence at the Venture Development Center at UMass Boston, contributing to research and educational activities in computer science and engineering. With a background in embedded software engineering, research assistance at Harvard Medical School, and experience as an Android and Java developer, Francesco brings a wealth of expertise to their roles. Francesco holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland.
