Eugenie Mainake is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Huie-Rogers Research Fellow at WSU College of Education, a position held since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Advising Assistant at the Carson Center for Student Success, focusing on undergraduate student advising from August 2022 to May 2023. From January 2019 to August 2022, Eugenie was a Research Assistant in the Department of Linguistics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, contributing to research on virtual reality in language education. Previous roles also include Graduate Student Consultant at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Teaching Faculty and Teaching Assistant at Universitas Pattimura, and English Language Teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Ambon. Eugenie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Language, Literacy and Technology from Washington State University, a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Southern Illinois University, and a Bachelor of Education in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Universitas Pattimura.
