Kionna Walker LeMalle is currently the Asst. Director of Executive Communications at the University of Houston-Downtown and an author at John F. Blair, Publisher. Kionna also works as an Adjunct Professor of Creative Writing at Houston Christian University and as a Writer and Writing Teacher for Writers in the Schools. Previously, Kionna served as Program Coordinator for ELA/Reading at Klein ISD and Assistant Professor of Education at Louisiana State University Alexandria. Kionna holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Houston Christian University and has a background in education, with a degree in Special Education from Xavier University of Louisiana.
